Aimed at those studying for a degree focused on Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Computing and MFL, undergraduate internships offers a taste of what it’s like to work in a school and is aimed at those who are potentially interested in teaching secondary Maths, Physics, Chemistry or MFL at a later date.

The programme is a government-backed scheme and is designed to provide a taster of what it’s like to be a teacher, work in a school and engage with young people. It provides opportunities for classroom experience and to be involved with students in a range of opportunities and situations. Interns receive £425 week, with successful applicants completing 3 weeks at Farlingaye High School, Kesgrave High School or Northgate High School in June and July each year.
