Farlingaye High School
Aimed at those studying for a degree focused on any of the Sciences, Maths and Engineering, undergraduate internships offers a taste of what it’s like to work in a school and is aimed at those who are potentially interested in teaching secondary Maths or Physics at a later date.
The programme is a government-backed scheme and is designed to provide a taster of what it’s like to be a teacher, work in a school and engage with young people. It provides opportunities for classroom experience and to be involved with students in a range of opportunities and situations. Those aged 20 and under will receive £300 a week and those aged 21 and over will receive £400 a week, with successful applicants completing 3 weeks with our school.
This year, the programme will commence on Monday 24 June 2024 and run for three consecutive weeks, finishing on Friday 12 July 2024.
